I am officially starting school tomorrow, and I'm already feeling nervous about it. Sure, there are tests and assignments to be worried about, but that's not what's making me feel nervous. Tomorrow is the official day I start school, and the official day I gradually become too busy to hangout with Cory.
As you know, Cory's one of the greatest friends I have. He's an awesome guy, cracks the weirdest jokes, cares about you more than you care about yourself, and is a super supportive friend when you need one. He hardly ever holds grudges (except for the time I ditched him - ya I can be an a-hole sometimes) and forgives people just like that (*snap*).
But there are better things that reach farther than his personality. I'll will miss more than just being in the presence of his friendly and caring personality; no, I'll miss the days we hangout in the stairwell during our spares/lunches, singing to "We Don't Talk Anymore" by Charlie Puth ft. Selena Gomez. I'll also miss talking about the most random things, or even the times when I'm jam-packing study notes into my brain while he's playing music on his laptop (just because he knows I study better with music on). He doesn't mind that I'm ignoring him half the time, or giving him half-thought-out answers to his questions.
Lately, he's had this major crush on a girl (let's call her Rachel, shall we?). I don't personally know her, but based on what Cory's told me, she's a sweet, cute, flirtatious girl who's always up to have fun. They've recently gotten closer within these few months, and, although he won't admit it, he's falling in love with her. Now, I don't have any problem with the fact that he's moving on (because I'm pretty happy he found someone he likes), but something about this girl bothers me.
Or rather, it's how he can unintentionally
