You know how in movies and TV shows, the main characters usually go for a nice, long, quiet drive on some smooth road with the city lights in the background because they're stuck with a problem and need to find a solution to it?
That's me. Ever since I had privileges to the car, I've been developing this habit of driving around to destress and hopefully, think of a solution. Lately, I've been driving a lot because, well, I have a lot of stuff on my mind.
School, which was the one thing I could count on to keep me focused, is no longer of my concern. I just don't care about anything, including the maintenance of my friendships with close friends or family members, and don't even get my started about work performance. I'm off my game.
So, since I had such an emotional roller coaster of a week, I decided to go for a drive. Except I ended up make a hasty decision to drive somewhere I specifically should stay away from - my ex's campus. I know, it was stupid. If you're wondering if anything happened, I can tell you this - nothing happened, which is probably good. I think.
I am trying to redirect my focus onto my novel, and it's starting to kick up my productivity. Let's just see how long it lasts.
